Description
This session explores how public health and policing collaborate to deliver effective diversion and case management responses for people with complex and multiple needs e.g. mental health issues, drug use, homelessness, street engaged individuals. etc. The session will explore systemic, operational, and cultural factors that enable successful collaboration between public health and policing, including leadership, data sharing, and community engagement. A 15-minute Q&A will follow the presentation, allowing participants to engage with the presenters and explore implementation strategies relevant to their own contexts.
