Description

This workshop covers the evolution of adolescent behavioral health care from the early days through the present. We will discuss current evidence-based practices and holistic, integrated models of care designed to treat the client and the family in detail.  Treating adolescents has evolved from an adult model of care designed by adults and fueled by anecdotes to a culturally sensitive specialty offering fueled by integrated, evidenced based, multi-disciplinary approaches.
