Presenters
Anthony Motsinger, PhD, LCSW is a nationally recognized behavioral health executive and clinician with deep expertise in systems transformation. As Vice President of Behavioral Consulting at SimiTree, he partners with organizations across the country to design and implement evidence-based, technology-enabled, financially sustainable models of care for behavioral health and substance use disorder organizations. In his role at SimiTree, Anthony provides executive leadership to the finance/operations, technology, and clinical/compliance divisions.
Anthony has extensive operational and clinical leadership experience across the full continuum of behavioral health—including inpatient, MAT integration, residential treatment, outpatient programs, and harm reduction models. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer for a national psychiatry group, where he led strategic expansion of services across multiple markets.
In addition to his executive roles, he has taught university courses in addiction counseling, sexual disorders, personality psychology, and ethics. His academic work emphasizes translating real-world clinical and operational challenges into applied learning, equipping the next generation of providers with the tools needed for effective, person-centered care.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Anthony retired as a Captain after serving honorably as an Officer in the Medical Services Corps. Anthony has continued his service to his community by completing law enforcement certification and serving as a police officer in his spare time.
Anthony holds a doctorate in psychology, master’s degrees in clinical social work and human resources management, and a bachelor’s degree in sociology and French. He is a licensed clinical social worker with multiple specialty certifications in addiction counseling, nicotine dependence, and integrated care.
