Educational Goal
The educational goal of this workshop is to provide an overview of the ADOS-2 to 1) help participants interpret ADOSes completed by other providers and 2) obtain an understanding of what the ADOS training and administration entails.
Description
This presentation is intended to provide an overview of the ADOS-2, including why and how the measure is used, how it is interpreted, and the next steps for completing the formal training and using it in practice. This presentation is recommended for providers who are considering being formally trained on the ADOS-2.
The training is intended to provide a brief overview of the ADOS and is not equivalent to certification on the measure.

Presenters
Dr. Robin Rumsey is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist who evaluates children for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the Masonic Institute for the Developing Brain (MIDB) Clinic at the University of Minnesota. She has been conducting comprehensive autism assessments since 2005. Dr. Rumsey is active in the training of professionals on ASD assessment and early signs of ASD. She has been a certified Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) trainer since 2014.
