Robin Mathy

I have been licensed as a social worker since 2004, completing my MSW at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2003. I also have an MSc in Evidence-Based Healthcare from the University of Oxford, an MSt in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and an MA in Sociology from Indiana University-Bloomington. I have published four books (coauthored with Frederick L. Whitam or edited with Shelly K. Kerry or Jack Drescher, and 50 peer-reviewed journal articles or book chapters. I live in Medford, Oregon, with two cats (Zenith and Rafiki), and I work exclusively by telehealth as a Volunteer Associate Therapist at Optimum Wellness Group based in Clearlake, CA. I am currently working toward my Doctor of Social Work degree at Tulane University in St. Louis, MO. I am in the process of writing my fifth book, "The Dialectics of Gender-Affirming Care: A Person-in-Environment Perspective."
